Beware of this project, many red flags have been lifted and this article will explain them all.

This article will take a deep dive into the founder of Wise Token (WISE) and his identity. The opinions expressed in this article will be backed by evidence, past allegations, and community questions that have gone unanswered. Firstly, we will start with what Peter Girr wants us to know about him and what he is hiding.

Peter Girr’s LinkedIn

Educational History:

  • Northland International University, graduated 2008, major: theology.
  • Alabama Military Academy, graduated 2011, OCS.

Work History:

  • US Army Medic
  • US Army All Source Intelligence
  • Wise Foundation Founder

If you look at his vanilla LinkedIn profile, you would think he is a country guy that went to a Bible University and graduated in the field of Theology, then went on to the Army and later founded the Wise Foundation. But evidence suggests, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Real Peter Girr

Not much is known about the real Peter until we slowly dig into the depths of the internet and backtrack his YouTube channels/online profiles. The first evidence of his online presence comes from his past YouTube channel called “Knightly Crypto”. If we further backtrack this online account we come to his old identity, “Knightly Gaming”.

When you search Knightly Gaming on reddit you come to the following results.

If you read the articles you see that Peter, formerly known as Knightly Gaming, led his 43 thousand viewers directly into the BitConnect Ponzi scheme. Even when cautioned by his numerous community members, he put personal gain over the investments of others. The articles on reddit are extremely informative with multiple video evidences of him doing exactly what a scammer would do. If you want to delve into the yourself just google search: “Knightly Gaming Bitconnect Reddit”.

Evidence: 1, 2, 3, 4

A reddit user who did a deep dive into Peter’s actions said the following:

  • “On January 16, 2018 BitConnect announced that they were shutting down their lending and exchange platform. The closure of a significant aspect of BitConnect caused the price of the BitConnect Coin (BCC) to plummet. People that had signed up for this service using fiat money (USD or other legal tender) and Bitcoins (BTC) were now stuck with BitConnect Coins which now have almost no value, compared to their original price, and caused many people to lose their investments due to this Ponzi scheme. This relates to KnightlyGaming through his active involvement in promoting and then trying to erase his actions. Over the past couple of months KnightlyGaming actively advertised the benefits of BitConnect along with Summoners War content on his YouTube account. KnightlyGaming not only made YouTube videos advertising the benefits of BitConnect but also actively advertised his referral link to BitConnect as well.”

After BitConnect fell through he deleted all his BitConnect videos in order to hide his involvement with the Ponzi scheme.

The reddit user continues:

  • “KnightlyGaming’s actions were predatory in nature. He tried to leverage his YouTube channel to get his viewers involved in a Ponzi scheme for his own financial benefit. In the video evidence listed above KnightlyGaming tries to entice his young viewer base to invest in BitConnect, using his own referral link, by stating that they can use the money they invest into this Ponzi scheme to pay for higher education or purchase a house.”

There are allegations of him using a GoFundMe to scam his viewers out of money to relocate himself to LA.

  • “This is the same guy who sold his account and setup a GoFundMe to help him move to LA. He used his subs for a last hurrah before completely finishing his sh** career on YouTube.”

In conclusion, Peter Girr knowingly preyed on his young gaming viewers and steered them to invest in BitConnect for personal gain.

But wait there’s more…

Peter Girr Resume on LinkedIn
Education Listed on LinkedIn
Peter Girr Resume on US Army Database

See the deceptive ways he has forfeited his Strayer University experience. The degrees he obtained as an Undergraduate do not match also. One resume says he studied theology, one says he studied communications.

You must ask yourself why the deception?

But wait there’s more…

On the official twitter page, if you click the link highlighted in blue and underlined in red, you would assume that it takes you to the www.wisetoken.net without any referrals. However, once you click that link you AUTOMATICALLY, without warning start using Peter’s referral link. You can test it out yourself. This is another deceitful technique to gather himself referral bonuses through using the foundation communication platforms for personal gain. Sounding familiar?

Other red flags I have found are two of his Wise Foundation supposed team members do not even have Wise Foundation in their work history. It just says they work for UpWork as independent freelancers. Vitaly and Samir. I am not saying that these people don’t exist or they are fraudulent, I am simply saying doesn’t it make you raise an eyebrow if two of the “team” members don’t even see this project as valuable work history. I am sure they are both talented developers but it does throw up red flags to me that they do not want their professional records to be associated with the Wise Foundation.

Laddered Staking…

Currently, the best way to stake your WISE is to continuously ladder stake to earn the best rewards. However, the dashboard provided on www.wisetoken.net does not allow you to do so. To do this you must go to a third party www.wiseinfo.io

On the surface this page looks innocent and it wants you to think this was developed outside of WISE by a third party supporter. However, there have been rumors circulating that this site was set up to purely benefit Peter Girr and the team. The more WISE users use this site the more benefits he receives through referral bonuses. This is another deceptive way that the team or Peter himself has set up the tokenomics to funnel funds to their own addresses.

Another factoid about this site is that it looks eerily similar to another platform on HEX.

Now ask yourself again, why for a project that wants to distance itself from HEX as much as possible they are using the same referral funneling schemes to collect rewards for themselves.

Why go through the trouble of having a third party host a necessary and wanted feature for your product? Only reason I can think of is that they are willingly doing this to collect rewards.

To be continued and conclusion…

There are more allegations on the validity of his military service, but due to lack of evidence I can not comment on those. If you have more evidence you are free to contact me.

In conclusion, after all these facts and things not looking/feeling right, I highly suggest you re-examine your investment in WISE. Do your own research and do not rely on this article alone to make a judgement. The project is headed by a guy who scammed his followers in 2017 for personal gain, the said person does not honestly reveal his education or work history, the said person uses small schemes and re-directions to scrape rewards off of his investors, the said person’s team members want to have no association with the project, and many other allegations.

Invest with caution is my final verdict.

On my next article I will focus on the tokenomics of HEX, AXN, and WISE and provide more insight stay tuned.

Thank you for reading.
